JIM HUMMEL TO PROVIDE INVESTIGATIVE VIDEO REPORTS

In its ongoing commitment to provide relevant and exclusive local news content on-air and on-line, News Talk 630 WPRO and 99.7 FM is pleased to announce that beginning October 15th,  Edward R. Murrow award winning reporter Jim Hummel will produce “The Hummel Report” - a no-holds-barred investigative video report to debut exclusively at 630WPRO.com every Thursday.

Jim Hummel’s reputation for investigative reporting is legendary in Rhode Island where he spent years producing and reporting the “You Paid For It” series for ABC 6. His work earned him an Edward R. Murrow award for investigative reporting. Prior to that, Jim worked at the Providence Journal, where he was a reporter, editor and manager for 13 years. Every Thursday Jim will feature the latest edition of “The Hummel Report,” which will focus on local and state government mismanagement and corruption.
