Providence Mayor Angel Taveras is now a father again after his wife gave birth to a son on Tuesday.

In a post on his Facebook page Taveras said, “Farah and I welcomed Sebastian Levi Taveras this morning at 1:16 a.m., weighing in at 8 pounds 12 ounces. We are very grateful for our outstanding nurses and doctors and for Women & Infants Hospital. Everyone is doing great and Farah Rose is looking forward to telling her little brother what to do.”

Taveras is finishing his final term as Mayor of Providence.
