Seven magicians are gathering at the Providence Performing Arts Center over the weekend for one-of-a-kind ensemble show that has a little something for everybody.
The Illusionist features seven different performers each with their own unique act all set to live music and choreography. Illusionist Dan Sperry, who specializes in shock illusions, says the variety of performances guarantees a broader appeal than single act shows.
“It’s a show people who don’t like magic shows and it’s a show for people who do like magic shows; there’s something for everybody here,” said Sperry.
The show entails seven separate performances, however the magicians said there is some crossover and joint performances throughout the show.
The show runs from Friday through January 18.
