Father, son arrested for marijuana growing operation

Rhode Island State Police say they have arrested a father and son marijuana growing team after they were discovered to have over thirty pounds of usable product.

Joseph T. Flynn, 41, and Joseph G. Flynn, 62, were both arrested after a court authorized search warrant was executed on both of the individual’s properties. T. Flynn was found to have 16 mature plants, 32 immature plants and approximately 15lbs of marijuana. Also found in the search was $5,396 and packing materials.

Additionally, a search of G. Flynn’s home resulted in the seizure of two mature plants, thirty-two immature plants, and six pounds of usable marijuana.

Both men were charged with possession of over five kilograms of marijuana and intent to deliver.

The son T. Flynn was released on $15,000 bail and G. Flynn was released on $10,000 personal recognizance.
