An exotic dancer formerly employed by the Foxy Lady is suing the gentleman’s club for allegedly violating her labor rights by not offering her and other dancers a base wage and forcing them to share their tips with other workers.

The Providence Journal reports Ruby Levi is suing the owners for misclassifying dancers as independent contractors and not employees. Additionally, the dancers were also charges fee and fines illegally by the owners.

The suit seeks to recover lost wages, damages and legal fees. The paper says several hundred other dancers are involved in the lawsuit.
