(Central Falls) Hillary Clinton returned one final time to Rhode Island before Tuesday’s Democratic primary vowing to take the state’s concerns to the White House.

“I promise you this. If you go vote for me on Tuesday, I will stand up and fight for you through this campaign all the way into the White House”, said Clinton.

Saturday’s rally took place inside the warm gymnasium of Central Falls High School, which local officials said was filled to a capacity of 1000.

Mrs. Clinton’s comments focused on the Democratic agenda of protecting labor rights, raising the minimum wage, protecting marriage equality, equal pay for women and a number of other issues.

She also took aim at her Republican rivals, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, whom she accused of returning with the “same old snake oil”.

Clinton went on to criticize Donald Trump as a reality show host and a loose cannon.

“Loose cannons tend to misfire and what we have with him is the loosest of the cannons,” said Clinton.

Clinton’s appearance in Rhode Island came the same day Republican John Kasich headlined a town hall style meeting at Bryant University.

Bernie Sanders will lead a rally Sunday afternoon in Providence.
