Former state Rep. Keven A. McKenna told WPRO’s Tara Granahan Tuesday night that he will run for the state Senate seat that Sen. Edward O’Neill is vacating, Senate District 17, which includes parts of Lincoln, North Providence and North Smithfield.
O’Neill, a Republican, is not seeking reelection.
