Taunton Police have arrested three young men after they allegedly blew what police think is marijuana smoke in a goat’s face.

Lorenzo Kelley, 20, Nuno Camara Jr., 18, and Jared Jorge, 21, all of Taunton were each charged with one count of Animal Cruelty.

Police said a social media video showed the three men taking the goat out of its pen, putting a chain around its neck, and bringing it inside a home. The video allegedly showed the men laughing, sitting on the goat’s back, and blowing marijuana smoke in its face.

Police said they identified Kelley, Camara, and Jorge after launching an investigation on Tuesday.

Taunton Police and a Taunton Animal Control Officer identified the goat in the video on Wednesday after a trip to the home, which police said belongs to one of Carama’s relatives. The goat is expected to be okay, and will remain in Animal Control’s care until the investigation is over.

The three men have been issued summonses to appear in court, but a date has not yet been set.
