Police say man arrested for carjacking pastor

CRANSTON, R.I. (AP) – A man is in custody for allegedly carjacking a pastor in Rhode Island.

Cranston police say a pastor was standing next to his car on Wednesday when 28-year-old Casimir Dynak pulled out a gun, threatened him and took off in his car.

WPRI-TV reports police searched the area and boxed in the car Dynak was driving. They say he was bluffing about the weapon.

Dynak will be facing several charges. An attorney for Dynak could not be immediately identified through electronic court records.
