Local Domino’s pizza shops will holding an open door hiring day on Tuesday, November 13th for employees of Papa Gino’s who were thrown out of work with no notice.

Managers at 19 local Domino’s will be holding open interviews from 2 until 7 pm, looking to hire up to 200 Papa Gino’s employees in the Greater Providence area. Open positions include customer service representatives, delivery experts, and managers.

Franchise owner Nelson Hockert-Lotz says not only is it the right thing to do, but good for their businesses.

“People are out of work, you know? That’s not going through the regular process. Let’s give people an opportunity to come in and sit down with the hiring manager and let’s see how quickly we can come to a decision,” he said.
