(NEW YORK) -- Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert and Golden State Warriors forward David Lee have each been suspended one game without pay by the NBA for instigating an altercation during Tuesday night’s contest in Indianapolis.
The incident occurred midway through the fourth quarter when Hibbert and Lee shoved each other under the rim following a missed basket. The skirmish spilled courtside, resulting in the ejection of Hibbert and technical fouls for Lee as well as two teammates, guards Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Pacers forward David West also received a technical.
The league fined Curry and Thompson as well as Indiana’s Lance Stephenson $35,000 for their roles in the incident. West was not fined.
Hibbert will serve his suspension on Thursday when the Pacers play host to the Clippers, while Lee will miss Wednesday night’s road contest against the Knicks.
