IN MEMORIAM: Two benefits for the Station Fire Memorial Foundation will be held this weekend. The first, a comedy show will be held tonight, Friday at 8 p.m. at PPAC. Dee Snider, Twisted Sister front man, will host. Comedians include Craig Gass, Don Jamieson, Stephanie Peters and more. Tickets are $30-$40 and can be purchased here.
Also this weekend is a staged reading of “They Walk Among Us,” a play written by the youngest Station Night Club Fire victim, Nick O’Neill. The reading will be held on Sunday night at the new Ocean State Theatre on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and proceeds will benefit the Station Fire Memorial Foundation. BILL COSBY: Legend Bill Cosby will be at the Providence Performing Arts Center for one night only Saturday at 8 p.m. Cosby is best known for his sitcom, The Bill Cosby Show and for creating the comedic animated character Fat Albert. He also hosted Kids Say the Darndest Things and starred in a series of iconic Jell-O commercials. Tickets for Cosby’s show range from $50.50 to $80.50 and can be purchased online here.
REGIS, LIVE! Regis Philbin will be at the Twin River Event Center tonight, Friday, at 8 p.m. with his wife, Joy. Regis left his post on Live With Regis and Kelly in 2011, but he’s now touring the country with a 14 piece orchestra. Tickets are $59.00 and can be purchased here.
BALLET: Festival Ballet will present “Agon and Orchis” this weekend, March 8 to 10 at the Vets Auditorium. According to the show’s description, the ballet by Balanchine and Stravinsky is considered one of the “most perfect, abstract, neoclassical ballets” they ever created. Tickets range in price from $20-$65 and can be purchased at here.
FISHING SHOW: The New England Salt Water Fishing Show is this weekend at the Rhode Island Convention Center. The show will feature charter guides, fishing accessories, tackle, rods, reels, lures, boats and more. There will also be free seminars. Admission is $10; children under 12 are free.
