The Betaspring open house is Thursday night, and 15 companies that have worked closely with the Providence-based accelerator program will have a chance to make presentations to attract investors.
The teams of entrepreneurs have been participating in Betaspring’s Spring Session, and moved into the Providence headquarters in early February. This afternoon, they will deliver 45-second "elevator pitches" at the program's “Launch Day.”
Of the fifteen companies, two are from Rhode Island. They are ShutterCal, a photo journaling site and YAEMO, which operates a digital marketplace where designers, architects and others can find materials for their projects.
