Vinny Paz says bar will drop the charges against him

Former boxing champion Vinny Paz has been charged with two misdemeanors after he smashed bar stools at the Grid Iron Ale House and Grill.

The stool smashing was sparked when a bartender repeatedly asked Paz to pay his tab and then asked him to leave. On the John DePetro Show, Paz says the whole thing was blown out of proportion.

“It was stupid, you know, six, seven drinks… everybody’s buying me shots…I’m good for business. And the bartender just got a little out of control cause, see I know my friend told me that he was having a mad problem with somebody else and he took it out on me,” says Paz.

Paz told John DePetro that the bar has dropped the charges.

“I’m friendly with all of them, I’m good for their business. You don’t do that to me. And I don’t want to hit nobody, you know, that’s not my thing, I don’t do that. And so, I got a little even and chucked a bar stool…but no bid deal,” says Paz.

A owner of the bar, Peter Rawcliffe, says they have not dropped the charges yet but they do plan it, if the damages are paid for.
