Guests included Clement’s Market marketing director Tracy Anthony, R.I. Rep Dan Riley and many others! Listeners and store-goers chatted with Buddy and Ron about the issues of the day. The WPRO street team handed out prizes like PawSox tickets and gave people on-site the chance to win tickets to the So You Think You Can Dance tour coming to the Dunkin Donuts Center.

Tara Granahan and Andrew Gobeil from the WPRO Morning News were greeting customers at the Elmwood Ave Dunkin Donuts in Warwick! Listeners met Tara and Andrew, won great WPRO prizwa and bought medium iced coffees for only a dollar to support Hasbro Children’s Hospital and its work with the children in our community! What an easy and refreshing way to support a great cause!

- News Talk 630 WPRO & 99.7 FM put on our walking shoes and joined The Walk: Hasbro Children's Hospital on Sunday October 4th @ Station Park in downtown Providence! Proceeds from the 1st inaugural Hasbro walk will go to the many initiatives and innovations at Hasbro Children's Hospital. WPRO had Stevie Wonder tickets to give away and ofcourse Talk Toss!
2009 RIBA Scholarship Winners - Erika Sloan of URI and Ryan Casey of CCRI are both recipients of the Rhode Island Broadcasters Association 2009 Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to students who intern at local media outlets. Both Ryan and Erika received $1,000 from RIBA through their internships @ News Talk 630 WPRO & 99.7 FM. Erika was an intern with John DePetro & the WPRO Morning News and Ryan was an intern with The Buddy Cianci Show during the spring semester of 2009.

Tent visitors "jammed" on guitars, drums and vocals to memorable rock hits.
