Providence- Editor of the Providence Journal, Alan Rosenberg, joins Gene and WPRO this morning to discuss why the ProJo is joining Thursday’s nationwide editorial campaign that is directed at the President’s disdain for the mainstream media. Rosenberg says the editorial is not an attack, but rather a retort to the criticism of work done in the journalism field.

Newspapers and media outlets say the President’s rhetoric has seriously confused the conversation in the country. Additionally, to classify the media as the enemy of the people has created a larger controversy, according to Rosenberg. Rosenberg expanded on the purpose of the editorial saying, “ I wouldn’t say its weaponizing, I would say it’s defending.”
