WEST WARWICK, R.I. (AP) — The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is offering a $500 reward for information on a neglected dog.

The RISPCA said Tuesday a person found the dog with a nametag reading “Molly” near the library in West Warwick Sunday.

Officials say the dog was in “terrible condition.” WPRI-TV reports she has dental problems, tumors, is blind from cataracts and is emaciated.

The dog has been taken to a veterinary hospital where she remains as of Wednesday.

Molly is micro-chipped. Anyone with information on the dog is asked to contact the RISPCA at 401-438-8150.
