Biden to stump for Rhode Island Democrats

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Former Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to visit Providence to stump for Rhode Island Democrats.

State Democratic Party officials say Biden will headline a rally at the Rhode Island Convention Center on Sunday, Sept. 30. The event will be free and open to the public.

Democrats say Biden will talk about what’s at stake in the November election.

The rally will be hosted by Gov. Gina Raimondo, U.S. Sens. Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse and Congressmen Jim Langevin and David Cicilline.
